Peter’s Chair was created by Hans J. Wegner during World War II as a gift for Peter, the son of his friend and fellow furniture designer Børge Mogensen.

Designed as a life-size three-dimensional puzzle in untreated beech, the chair is easily assembled without the use of tools.

Peter’s Chair combines perfectly with Peter’s Table.

Often referred to as the master of the chair, he has created almost 500 chairs in his lifetime, many of them considered masterpieces. He is considered one of the most creative among Danish furniture designers.
