Description

The OW449 Colonial Coffee Table was designed by Ole Wanscher mixing modern style and clever utility to classic objects. The square veneer tabletop and framing design reflect that of the other furniture in the Colonial Series with precise detailing, raised corners, a geometric aesthetic and elegant simplicity.

The Colonial Coffee Table is available in walnut or oak, and the latter is also available in a black-painted version. 

The Colonial Series also includes the OW149 Colonial Chair, the OW149, 2 Colonial Sofa and the OW149F Colonial Footstool.

Ole Wanscher
He was integral to the aesthetic and functionality of modern Danish design. Having studied under Kaare Klint, he helped shape Danish furniture as a designer and as an educator when he took over Klint’s professorship.
