Description

Hans J. Wegner created the CH53 footstool in 1966 and it clearly demonstrates his passion for both craftsmanship and everyday functionality. It makes an ideal complement to the CH44 but it is also elegant in its own right for the hallway, bedroom, or kitchen. 

The CH53 footstool is available in two heights, this is the lower version (H39) which complements the CH44 lounge chair.

Often referred to as the master of the chair, he has created almost 500 chairs in his lifetime, many of them considered masterpieces. He is considered one of the most creative among Danish furniture designers.
